Welcome Back, Pitches: Pitch Perfect Sequel Announced

On November 18, 2014 it was announced that there will be a sequel to the blockbuster movie Pitch Perfect. It will be called Pitch Perfect 2. The poster and the trailer for the movie were released the following day. It turns out that everyone will reprise their roles from the first movie. New cast members have been added, including Hailee Steinfeld, Chrissie Fit, and Katey Sagal.
In the trailer, it looks like the Bellas will be participating in an international competition against other a cappella groups from around the world to determine who’s the best. The Bellas are determined to enter the competition because no American team has ever won.
Some songs have been confirmed, such as the following: “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” “Before He Cheats,” “Wrecking Ball,” “Let It Go,” “Roar,” “Royals,” and “Midnight Memories.” Pitch Perfect is based on the book, Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Cappella Glory. Pitch Perfect 2 will be released in theatres worldwide on May 15, 2015. We can’t wait to see what the Bellas have in store for us.
