Student Review: The Fault In Our Stars

One of the biggest movies that opened this past summer was “The Fault In Our Stars.” The movie is a 2014 American romantic comedy-drama. It’s based on the novel of the same name by John Green. The film stars Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, and Nat Wolff, with Laura Dern, Sam Trammell, and Willem Dafoe playing supporting roles. Shailene Woodley plays Hazel Grace Lancaster, a sixteen-year-old cancer patient who is forced by her parents to attend a support group, where she subsequently meets and falls in love with Augustus Waters. The movie grossed the number 1 spot its opening weekend and it grossed over $302 million worldwide. a soundtrack was released prior to the movie, and one of the popular songs from it is called “Boom Clap” by Charli XCX. The Fault in Our Stars was released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 16, 2014. The "Little Infinities" Blu-ray edition features both the theatrical and extended versions of the film and a limited time bracelet.
